This is an interesting book and informative. It is arranged as a dictionary. Like other readers, I read it beginning to end, A-Z.

There is more emphasis on literature / religion / mythology than anything else. In contrast to the Mackillop's Dictionary of Celtic Mythology, who tries to better balance history with mythology. I am surprised by the differences between the two dictionaries.

Dixon-Kennedy states in his introduction that he has already written a dictionary of Arthurian Mythology, so he tried to limit that introduction here.
