          The subject of the virtual exhibition entitled "Kristijonas Donelaitis: The Cycle of Seasons and Writings" is the life, work and literary legacy of this classic Lithuanian author.

          The exhibition features key documents kept in the holdings of the project promoters‘ institutions: the Wroblewski Library of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Lithuanian Literature and Folklore and the Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania.

          It also showcases several documents from the Prussian Privy State Archives (Geheimes Staatsarchiv Preußischer Kulturbesitz, Berlin); their copies are published here with permission. Some archival documents are being published for the first time.
