          Deputy Minister of Health Glenda Yeates today announced the appointment of

          Dr.

          Ross Findlater as Saskatchewan's new Chief Medical Health Officer. The

          Chief Medical Health Officer is the primary advisor to Saskatchewan Health

          on matters related to public health, with specific focus on disease

          prevention, health promotion and protection.

          According to Dr. Ross Findlater, Saskatchewan's chief medical health officer, there have been 31 cases of mumps reported in Alberta this year— including.
